The first phase of the driveway and curb repair has been completed. Sealing of the driveway and painting of the lines and arrows will take place next week. The winter weather was extremely destructive to our driveway, but now it will look great.
The Club Room has undergone some renovation, which included granite counter tiles to match all existing granite. A new stainless steel sink was installed and all cabinets and the Sub Zero panel repainted. Solar blinds were added to increase the energy efficiency in this area, which receives significant heat and cold. The kitchen now looks fresh and up to date. A solar shower was added to the pool area as a requirement of the Health Department code.
Redecoration of the Lobby is now complete. The Design Review Committee did an outstanding job and will now look at other projects. They continue enhancing Park Place on Peachtree for the residents to enjoy as well as maintain the value of this wonderful building.
Engineering is very busy with maintaining this 14-year-old building. Garage light fixtures on Middle Parking were replaced as well as the ceiling tiles on the garage levels and the main lobby. New Roof Top units are nearly complete to keep the common area halls cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The halls are receiving temperature readings of 70 – 74 degrees during these warm, humid days.
